Tex*Rep's Community Division was created to provide additional opportunities to connect with, and get the organization out into, the community. The idea is for it to start small and agile, to grow as opportunity arises, and to produce shows, maybe unconventional ones, beyond the productions of the Main Stage. TEXREP CABARET
JULY 8, 9 AND 10 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
TexRep's community division will host its annual cabaret show. Location TBA.
The coordinators for this event need participants (ten to fifteen strong singers).

To audition for the show, please email Brian Billings (brian.billings@tamut.edu) and let him know a date and time in March during which you would like to audition; please also include a list of three songs from Broadway shows you would like to sing. Duets or trios are acceptable if you can provide partners.

TEXREP ON DEMAND
July 16 and July 17, 2010
TexRep's community division will host Texarkana's first Twenty-Four-Hour Play Festival. On Friday (July 16, 2010) at 7:30 p.m., local playwrights will choose phrases, props, and cast lists provided by TexRep. The playwrights will write fifteen-minute scripts and submit them to the festival coordinators by 6:00 a.m. on Saturday (July 17, 2010). The coordinators will provide the scripts to local directors and actors. These teams will perform the plays that evening at 7:30 p.m.

The coordinators for TexRep on Demand need participants (four writers, four directors, and at least twelve actors).
