Tartuffe: The Imposter

Though it is unclear what religion “holy man” Tartuffe follows, he definitely believes his own hype. Unfortunately (at the expense of his wife and kids) so does Orgon, a wealthy ex-military man in the midst of a midlife crisis. Orgon’s family doesn’t understand his obsession with their obnoxious guest, who drinks all their wine, eats all their food, and constantly wears out his welcome. They give Orgon a choice– them, or Tartuffe. Will he make the right decision? Or will his search for meaning cost him the people he loves?
